Norfolk Contemporary Arts Society Artworks Collection

In 1985 ncas adopted a policy of purchasing artworks by artists working in the region. The pieces were bought with the intention of exhibiting them in the region and in places where the public has access, but outside the normal confines of galleries.

The works are released on extended loans and offered on the basis of the space available, nature of the organisation and the visiting public. In some instances there is a natural context for the work e.g. School or community where the artist studied or worked.
